Benefits:
The festival draws approximately 10,000 people over the course of 16 days. Based on last year's survey, the average age of our concert goers are 50+ years of age. 70% of attendees make over $60,000 a year, and 35% make over $100,000 a year. We also found that 60% of our attendees travel more then 70 miles to get here.
Our marketing plan includes several midday appearances on Sacramento & Co. on News10 as well as 120, 15 second PSAs with Jennifer Smith that run two weeks before and during the festival. We have advertising in more then 10 popular magazines and 6 newspapers that are distributed throughout Northern California. We also plan to have over 1000 radio spots with local and central valley radio stations, as well as Capital Public Radio. Additionally, we are also printing 40,000 brochures (half to be mailed to our database, the other will be distributed all over N. CA) and 1000 promotional posters to be hung all over the two counties, bay area, plus Sacramento and Central Valley. At the concerts we will supply each attendee with a program guide, which includes all of our sponsors and advertisers.
We plan on having two headlining performers this season. This years headliners are, Oh, What a Night! (Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons) and Yesterday (Beatles Tribute Band). There are several other wonderful performances...Americana Night or the Russian Composer evening with our symphony orchestra, Best of Broadway Pops, special appearances by Santiago Rodriguez, pianist, Sandy Cameron, piano, jazz night and the children's Teddy Bear Picnic and concert.
