2008 Summer Music Intern Program

Supported by the Lloyd Bridges Scholarship Fund

The Summer Music Intern Program was created in 1998 along with the Lloyd Bridges Scholarship Fund to bring talented and deserving youth between 17 and 21 to our Festival. The Fund honors Lloyd Bridges and his family who were generous participants in the Festival for several decades.

There were four interns last year, John Schindler who is here for his second year, Amy Leang, Micheal Erickson and Allison Sherris, all talented young students and their participation is funded through the Lloyd Bridges Scholarship. All of these students are from the Seattle area of Washington. While in Bear Valley, they will rehearse, study conducting, and perform with the Festival Orchestra.
